Our world has experienced four ice ages so far. Each Ice Age period lasted between two and three million years. The last ice age ended in 18,000 BC. and lasted about 250,000 years. The Anatolian countries did not experience the last Ice Age. The Fourth Ice Age, estimated to be around 250,000 years old, did not affect the Anatolian lands.
